Shellback Marines AMC — Industrial Plant Security Systems, Jalpaiguri

A large manufacturing plant in Jalpaiguri had invested significantly in a 48-camera CCTV network, intruder alarm system, and card-based access control — but had no formal maintenance contract. Over time, system performance had degraded: eight cameras were not recording correctly, multiple alarm sensors had faults, and two access control readers were non-functional. Management had no visibility of these issues until a theft incident revealed the failures.

Shellback Marines conducted a full system health check, identified all faults, and restored the entire security infrastructure to full working order within three days. We then implemented a quarterly PPM programme under an annual maintenance contract. Eighteen months later, system uptime is consistently above 99%, all faults are identified and resolved proactively before they become security vulnerabilities, and the plant management has full documentary evidence of system status at all times.
